Nicola’s speech at the Victoires de la Musique awards: apparently, we’re here to rejuvenate the show, as we’re the oldest band of the evening and on the verge of retirement. It’s a battle, in any case, another battle, one we’re very happy to have won, and that’s why we’re here: to have brought together so many people on this tour with ticket prices that are off the charts compared to all the other tours, without a golden pit, gold circle, early entrance, platinum, special ticket, VIP. Reduced visibility, etc. With Indochine, we’ve never done that and we never will. We make music first and foremost, for everyone, and if we have to remain the only ones, we will.
So thank you to the more than 1.5 million spectators who came to our Arena Tour and who left seemingly happy, and thank you to the Victoires de la Musique for daring to include us, to Play Two and Emilie, and a thought for our technical team. Good evening everyone…
